US Accountant | Remote | QuickBooks Online

Location: Any Site (Manila, Clark, Tarlac, Cebu)
Shift: Monday to Friday; 9PM – 6AM; REMOTE

About the role ….
We’re hiring an experienced and detail-oriented US Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting. This is a key individual contributor role focused on QuickBooks Online, financial statement preparation, and month-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accounting for multiple client accounts using QuickBooks Online
• Lead monthly and quarterly close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with U.S. standards
• Collaborate with the President to deliver timely, accurate financial reports
• Identify and implement process improvements using technology and automation
• Maintain consistent, documented workflows across all accounts
• Communicate and collaborate using Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft 365 tools
• Manage task tracking, file sharing, and internal documentation using TaxDome

Qualifications / Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 5-10 years of accounting experience, preferably with U.S.-based clients or firms
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of cash and accrual accounting and U.S. GAAP
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced remote environment

Software Used:
• Drake Tax (for tax return preparation)
• QuickBooks Online (for client financials)
• Gusto (for payroll review and withholdings)
• TaxDome (for client communication, document management, and task management)

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with TaxDome, Bill.com, or Gusto
• Prior experience in an outsourced accounting or client-based environment
• Interest or experience in team leadership or process management
• Familiarity with the Profit First method
